We need your help! Join us on Earth Day to help make Lake Iowa Park a cleaner and greener place. We will be picking up litter, cleaning off the garden beds, and nature playscape area. Light refreshments will be served for all volunteers.
Bird Banding Presentation and Discussion

How do you think a chickadee, nuthatch, or blue jay might respond to capture? Come and find out!
Local bird bander Mark Bowman will give a power point presentation, first explaining the conservation benefits of bird banding, and then discussing the joys of banding and the amusing behaviors of wild songbirds in response to capture. Discussion and time for questions will follow.
