Join Iowa County Conservation for the eleventh of our GROW. GATHER. PRESERVE. program series!
In this program, we will learn different methods and techniques for gathering and processing firewood. We will cover a unique way to sustainably generate firewood from one tree for many years through a technique called coppicing. A enfaces on safety, proper techniques, and proper tools while hand splitting firewood will be the main focus of this program all while we learn to connect our physical, mental, and spiritual health into the process.
