Join Naturalist Mary Bulger to learn about the amazing monarch butterfly!

We will start with a outdoor presentation at the Dale Noyes Shelter in Lake Iowa Park from 4:30-5:30p about monarchs including: their life cycle, what they eat, what you can do to help increase monarch population, and how we tag and track their migration to central Mexico.

Live caterpillars will be on hand to observe and adult butterflies to tag!

After the indoor program we’ll send you off in the park with all of the necessary materials to catch and tag monarchs butterflies from 5:30-7:30p.

Pre-registration for this program is required by email to mbulger@co.iowa.ia.us
