Lake Iowa Park offers a beach, boat rentals, camping, hiking, fishing, shelters, playgrounds, and a vast amount of outdoor entertainment and education.
Camping
The Lake Iowa Park Campground runs on a first come first serve basis, there are no reservations. If campers would like to come out and set up early for a big weekend, they must have a camper or an erected tent in the site and register the site. The campground offers 122 gravel sites with electricity and water hookups throughout the campground. There are two nice shower houses located in the campground as well. Most sites are 30amp with the exception of sites #117-#122, which are 50amp. There is dump station at the entrance of the park.
There is a self-registration when you first come in.
May – September:

October – April:

Electrical pads $10/night
14 day stay limit out of 21 days
Beach
The beach is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend with no lifeguard at duty; it is swim at your own risk. There are no pets or glass allowed on the beach.
Hiking
There are several trails including a new lakeside trail which take you all over the park and connect the shelters. Enjoy a leisure walk or a hilly hike!
Fishing
Lake Iowa has great fishing opportunities and a nice fish cleaning station. Catch bluegill, redear sunfish, bass, crappie, catfish, and carp in the lake regularly! Also, check out the Campground Pond for a lot of pan size fish!
